OMS Oilfield Services Malaysia (OMSM) is one of the largest and longest established subsidiaries of the OMS Group. Knowledge, technical innovation and teamwork are our core values and credentials as we constantly strive to maintain one step ahead of our competitors.

The first machine shop was established in Labuan in 1981, followed by Kemaman in 1988 and Johor Bahru in 2007. Another special process facility was added in Labuan in 2014. And in 2019, a full-fledged facility was established, also in Labuan.

Besides these 4 facilities, we also have a sales office in Kuala Lumpur (certified ISO 14001 & ISO 45001), strategically situated at Damansara Heights, so as to be nearer to our customers’ headquarter.

For more than 30 years, OMSM has been extensively providing Oil Country Tubular Goods (OCTG) repair, manufacturing and recertification to the oil and gas industry. We have a complete range of precision machining equipment for the manufacturing of new and rework of the tubular product line.

OMS took a strategic decision to set-up a one-stop-shop (OSS) – OCTG/Drillpipe Tubular Inventory Management Services for our customers, starting from the Labuan facility. We offer value-added services such as periodic surveillance of OCTG/Drillpipe condition, inspection and maintenance of tubular, yard rental for mid to long term tubular storage. This assists customers to streamline their processes and resources to one party and therefore, delivering the best value to our customer in providing a broad spectrum of support to all tiers of our customers’ operations.
