Safety Month 2018
2018 Safety Month took place in November 2018, with its theme on preventing hands and fingers injuries at the workplace. Given the nature of OMS business where work activities are hand and finger related, it is critical that all employees understand and are kept engaged in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for everyone. Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
So as to achieve greater awareness and facilitate better understanding on the theme of preventing hands and finger injures at the workplace, the different locations conducted various programmes such as workshops, activities, games and quizzes for all employees to participate.
In alignment with its theme, ‘safe hands are happy hands’ was identified as the slogan throughout the Safety Month.
OMS continues to strive on the journey of sustainable HSSE excellence, continuously seeking opportunities to improve and build on our HSSE culture and systems which aim to protect all employees, stakeholders, and properties as well as preserve our environment.
